How Solo Sessions Work
Choose your location: I'll bring the full studio (lighting, backdrop, everything) to your office or home, or you can come to our San Jose studio. Either way, the price is the same.
What I need from the space:
About 10 × 10 feet of open floor and one power outlet. A conference room, spare office, or living room all work. I light every session myself, so it looks the same at 8 AM or 6 PM.
On the day:
Your session runs up to 30 minutes. You'll see every frame on-screen as we shoot, and I direct you the whole way through: posture, angle, expression. Most people tell me they were dreading it and ended up enjoying it.
Pick your favorite on the spot:
We choose your best shot together before you leave, and a web-ready version goes straight to your phone so you can post it right away.
Your final image within 48 hours:
Fully retouched, high-resolution, and print-ready, in three backgrounds (transparent, white, and grey), plus crops sized for LinkedIn, team pages, and email signatures. Your gallery stays open for 30 days.

How Much Time Do We Need?
Each person takes 2–3 minutes. We schedule about 10–15 per hour so nobody feels rushed. So a 2-hour session comfortably covers a team of around 15-20, and larger teams simply book more time. On our call, I'll ask how many people you have and walk you through two options: a tighter, rushed schedule to keep the cost down, or extra time so no one has to reschedule a meeting or rush through their shot. Most teams choose the extra time. For example, teams of 20+ we recommend a half day (4-hours) as the extra time gives everyone room to book their slot around their day, and if you want to move faster within the 2-hour minimum, that's your call too.

How New Hire Days work.
Every quarter, we come to you and set up the same lighting and background as your original team shoot, so every new face matches everyone already on your site. Just tell us who's joined since the last visit. There's nothing else to book or coordinate.
Need someone photographed sooner?
Members can add an extra visit between quarters for $200 (1 hour, no 2-hour minimum).
Terms
Quarterly billing, 12-month term. Cancel with 30 days' notice after your first full team shoot. Travel is included within about 60 miles of San Jose. Paying annually saves $300 (Foundation) or $500 (Growth).

How do corporate headshots work?
It's simple. Your team books a time slot that works for them, and each person spends just 2–3 minutes in front of the camera. I guide the posing, we pick the best shot together on-screen, and a LinkedIn-ready headshot lands on their phone before they walk out the door. You get the complete team set, named by employee, the same day.
Here's a general overview:
Scheduling: You'll receive an invitation via Google Calendar to select a convenient appointment time. Automated reminders will be sent to ensure no one misses their slot.
Appointment Tracking: We'll be using a secure internal spreadsheet to track appointments and photo delivery, ensuring everyone is accounted for.
Photo Storage and Delivery: Your professionally edited headshot will be stored securely in [Google Drive/Dropbox, specify which one]. You'll receive a direct link to your photo via email once it's ready.
File Naming: Please note that photos will be named using a consistent format (e.g., LastName_FirstName_EmployeeID.jpg) for easy organization.
Communication: We'll keep you informed throughout the process via email.

How long does setup take?
About 45 minutes before the first person, and 20 to 30 minutes to pack up. I arrive early so your start time is your start time.
What should people wear?
I send a one-page prep guide you can forward. Short version: solid colors, avoid busy patterns and bright white, and bring a jacket or second layer if they want options. Nobody needs to buy anything.
Can you do multiple offices?
Yes. Multiple locations get scheduled as separate days on the same project, with identical lighting and backgrounds so the final set looks like one shoot. Teams of 50+ or multi-site companies get a custom quote.
Do we own the photos?
Yes. Full rights for your website, LinkedIn, recruiting, press, and internal use. Extended commercial licensing is available if you need it for paid advertising.
How do we book?
A 25% deposit ($100 minimum) reserves your date, with the balance due 24 hours before the shoot.
What is your rescheduling and cancellation policy?
You can adjust your date as needed, but the deposit is nonrefundable in case of cancellation. We offer free rescheduling if circumstances change.
We don't have a dedicated photo space. Is that a problem?
Almost never. I need a spot roughly 10 by 10 feet with a power outlet — a conference room, a wide hallway, a corner of the lobby, or an unused office all work. I bring my own lighting and backdrop, so the room's own lighting and wall color don't matter. I've shot portraits off the side of a commencement stage; your break room will be fine.
How long does each person take?
Two to three minutes, including getting their finished headshot onto their phone. A 20-person team is done in half a morning.
Someone's out sick that day. Now what?
Send them to the next monthly New Hire Day, or they can book a discounted solo session. For teams of 15 or more, I'll usually hold a short second visit if several people missed.
What do we actually receive?
Every person gets a web-optimized, LinkedIn-ready file on their phone the same day, and you get the complete team set named by employee. Add Full Delivery for high-resolution retouched images in three backgrounds — grey, white, and transparent — within 48 hours.
How far do you travel?
We travel throughout the entire Bay Area with transparent, flat-rate pricing and no hidden fees.
South Bay, Mid-Peninsula, & Tri-Cities: Travel is completely free for locations including San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Campbell, Saratoga, Los Gatos, Milpitas, Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Mountain View, Los Altos, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Fremont, and Newark.
Upper Peninsula, East Bay, & Santa Cruz: A $75 flat fee covers Redwood City, San Carlos, Belmont, San Mateo, Union City, Hayward, Santa Cruz, and Scotts Valley.
San Francisco & Beyond: A $150 flat fee covers San Francisco, the North Peninsula, Oakland, and the rest of the Bay Area.
Half-Day Bookings: If you book a half-day session or longer, travel is free anywhere in the Bay Area.
All travel costs—including parking, tolls, and bridges—are consolidated onto a single invoice with no complex reimbursement forms or surprise charges.
For locations outside these areas, just reach out for a custom quote.
Can I book a session without making a payment?
Not at this time. To secure your session, a nonrefundable deposit is required after our call.
The remaining balance will be invoiced and must be paid at least 24 hours before your shoot. Need to reschedule? No problem—it’s free! However, the deposit is nonrefundable if you cancel.
